Who could be better in speech than somebody who calls to Allah while they acted righteously, while they acted in a good way? And they declared that I am certainly from among the Muslims. Allah is saying the best speech you can possibly have is one that invites to Allah. And it's not the speech that's the best; you become the best in Allah's sight. You are so valuable when you just took an opportunity to invite somebody towards Allah. This ayah isn't just about the khatib (preacher) and the imam and the da'i (inviter), the professionals that walk through, that set up a table and say, "Hey, come, let me show you Islam is true." Not just those guys, because not everybody has a mic on. Not everybody has a platform. Some people, the only people they can invite to Allah is their mother. Some people, the only one they can invite to Allah is their best friend. Some people, the only one they can invite to Allah is their daughter, their husband, their wife, their cousin, their coworker. And they can't do it all the time. They find an opportunity, the right time, to just say something that brings them an inch closer to Allah.
Siapa yang lebih baik ucapannya daripada orang yang mengajak kepada Allah sambil berbuat baik? Dan mereka bilang bahwa mereka termasuk Muslim. Allah bilang, ucapan terbaik yang bisa kamu punya adalah yang mengajak orang lain kepada Allah. Bukan cuma ucapannya yang baik; kamu jadi yang terbaik di mata Allah. Kamu jadi sangat berharga ketika kamu punya kesempatan untuk mengajak seseorang kepada Allah. Ayat ini bukan cuma tentang khatib (penceramah), imam, atau da'i (pengajak) yang profesional dan punya panggung besar. Bukan cuma mereka, karena nggak semua orang punya mikrofon atau platform. Ada orang yang cuma bisa ngajak ibunya ke jalan Allah. Ada yang cuma bisa ngajak sahabatnya, anaknya, suaminya, istrinya, sepupunya, atau temannya di kantor. Dan mereka nggak bisa melakukannya setiap saat. Mereka cari kesempatan, waktu yang pas, untuk bilang sesuatu yang bisa membuat orang lain sedikit lebih dekat kepada Allah.
